Cisco Champion 2015: Thank You Community!

I’m very proud to announce that I’ve been included in the Cisco Champion community for the second time now in 2015! This is a great community to be a part of and through my experiences in 2014 with the program, I was able to get great access to resources and people who helped to bring much more knowledge to me and to my readers.

Heading into 2015 I’ve got a lot of plans around community work through the VMware vExpert program, Cisco Champion, and I’m also working on building out a community program at Turbonomic to help bring access to information, engineers, and products that will help all of my readers and peers with growing their skills.

What does being a Cisco Champion mean?

To me, this is a nod to the work being done by all of the members of the Cisco Champion community and by Cisco as an organization to share information. Cisco has a wide variety of products on both hardware and software platforms. This makes it very interesting as we can choose which area of the products we wish to cover.

Given my work with OpenStack, I have been watching Cisco particularly closely to see how the Metacloud purchase will play out. I’ve got big hopes to be able to get involved and share more on Cisco and OpenStack as well as their other areas of strength in the data center.

For the full information on the program, you can click the link below and see what it’s all about. Thank you to the community and to the team at Cisco for all of your support in 2014. I look forward to a strong 2015 as we share more great Cisco content together.
