#vDM30in30 November 2016 – It’s On!

Because you didn’t already have too much in your backlog, let’s add another 30 things to do! It’s super simple to be involved. Β Just follow these simple steps. It’s just that easy!

Visit the #vDM3in30 Official Page here: #vdm30in30

How to #vDM30in30 in 4 easy steps

  1. Add a comment to this blog indicating you’re participating and include a link to your blog
  2. Write 30 pieces of blog content to publish in November
  3. Tweet each blog with the #vDM30in30 hashtag on Twitter
  4. Cheer on your community colleagues by sharing their content with your social streams

Things to think about when creating #vDM30in30 content:

  1. Keep it enjoyable, meaningful, and fun
  2. Your content may span across multiple sites (e.g. I write for 2 blogs, so there will be 15 articlesΒ per site)
  3. You don’t have to do all 30. The point is that it’s about trying to push ourselves in a positive way
  4. Seriously, just have fun with it
  5. Get started now with content to publish later. Β This is what we call having blogs “in the can” as the old filmmakers used to say
  6. If you don’t have a blog, we will happily let you post on the Virtual Design Master site for any content

Yes, this is a lot of content to create and publish in a month. Β Yes, you may even be criticized a little because quantity doesn’t equate itself to quality. Β The goal is to push ourselves a little bit to spur on the creative juices.

  1. With the caveat that I had to bow out of #VDM30in30 last year due to the onset of carpal tunnel syndrome, I’m in again this year. I haven’t had serious symptoms since February of this year and I’ve modified my input methods and habits, so I’m going to just hope for the best.

I’ll be posting at two of my blogs:

http://geekfoodcritic.com – refocusing my food blog to write about my journey to lose weight and get healthy
https://mikestanley.me – my everything else blog

It’ll be fun trying to squeeze a daily blog post into my routine, but I won’t know if I can do it if I don’t try. πŸ™‚

    • Welcome to the fun, Mike! Hope that we can keep the carpal tunnel away for good for you. In fact, it would be good to share things that you do to help with it. I bet that a lot of people would be able to benefit from that content πŸ™‚

  2. Howdy Eric!
Hope all is well and what a great idea! This is not my forte and really going to be a great growth experience as I learn to hone my blogging skills, to be a better blogger and hopefully in the process I come up with some content that can be of use to the community. This is such a great community that gives so much. I appreciate the opportunity learn and grow in the process! πŸ™‚ Thanks!
